Production Operator, 1st shift, Ames, IA (USA) 2024
As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in a diverse and dynamic workforce. This physical job offers a wide range of tasks, where you'll work closely with your colleagues to improve our processes and products. You will be responsible for handling raw materials, such as dry pre-mix powders, weighing up to 55lbs. Additionally, you will monitor our equipment and processes, analyze our products, and perform minor maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Handle, transport, weigh and analyze raw materials and finished good samples
- Print, inspect, and reconcile labels, fill silos, packaging, and batch sampling
- Inspect raw materials and finished goods for quality, palletize and store raw materials
- Monitor equipment and production process
- Minor maintenance work on equipment as necessary

You bring:
- High school diploma / GED
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 55 lbs. consistently throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
- Ability to work OT as needed
